I will improve your BIOLOGY grade
I am able to improve students grades because I present the material in a SIMPLE way. I break concepts down so they are easy to understand.
I spend a lot of time building resources so I have a complete bank of simple visual explanations. I love to research and find the best animations and images which help make the material engaging and relatable.
Biology has always been fascinating to me and when you're interested you learn more effectively and you remember. I work to get students INTERESTED and MOTIVATED. I connect the units to help the student see the bigger picture of BIOLOGY; the study of life, and not small compartments of topics that need to be memorized.

Experience…
Biology was my passion at school and I gained a scholarship to Cranleigh boarding school to take my A levels. I then went on to study a BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology and then a MSc in Science at King's College London University. I trained to be a teacher in 2005.
After training to be a Biology teacher, I worked in high achieving schools in the UK and then I came to New York to work at an international school in 2008, where I trained specifically in the IB Biology program.
I have been an IB examiner for many years and transitioned to a full time on line tutor during COVID and have not turned back.
I will make it happen…
I love working with students one on one and in small groups, helping those that just can’t reach their goals in a school based environment.
